According to the Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical public relations and international affairs, Morteza Shahmirzaie visited the PET research pilot in Bandar Imam Khomeini Special Zone Petrochemical's Petrochemical Research and Technology Company.
In this visit, Seyed Reza Ghasemi Shahri pointed to the role and position of the Polyethylene Terephthalate production chain in the country's industries, especially the textile industry and food and health packaging. He
said: To gain technical knowledge of different grades of Polyethylene Terephthalate, our colleagues planned and implemented several activities in this pilot, which resulted in the production of various products such as high strength yarn grade HV PET, black Chador grade, AB PET, which makes self-sufficiency. In the field of production, the country has supported products, employment, and prevented foreign currency drain.
Shahmirzaei pointed to the need for planning to improve the quantity and quality of products and the diversity of companies' product portfolio, the importance of research and development in moving towards the growth and development of the petrochemical industry. He appreciated and thanked the support of managers and officials of this Company.
