According to the Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical public relations and international affairs, Amin Malekzadeh referring to the implementation of numerous and diverse programs to eliminate bottlenecks and barriers to production to increase the quantity and quality of production of Polyethylene Terephthalate
chain products, said: the operation of setting up the seventh spinning line of Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) of Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemicals was carried out from the beginning to the end, relying on the ability, expertise, and knowledge of the company's employees and without the use of foreign companies.
The supervisor of Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company said: the implementation of this project increases the production of the POY factory to 12% and makes the increase in the ratio of product to an unprecedented 88%.
Malekzadeh emphasized that sanctions, the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and any other problems never stop us and our colleagues work with careful planning, empathy, and teamwork. Also, we hope that the project will end in the shortest possible time without any accident, and the line is in the production circuit.
Malekzadeh stated: important measures such as rebuilding and troubleshooting the testing system of yarn production systems, repairing many defective electronic boards, and upgrading the seventh line operating to provide hardware in the coming years were done by the company's repair personnel in the company. So, we are proud to say that the problems not only disappointed the colleagues but also paved the way for their innovation and creativity.
He stated that Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemicals, as the only producer of strategic products of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) and Polyethylene Terephthalate, has a special role in supporting downstream industries, especially the textile industry. So, the company always tries to meet the full needs of the domestic market to support national production.
The supervisor of Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company, reminding that the operation of
this production line will increase the financial profit by about 90 billion Tomans annually, and emphasized: increasing the production will support domestic production, and we move towards self-sufficiency and job creation.
According to him, with the launch of the eighth spinning line of the Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Polyester (POY), it will be possible to achieve production with 100% of the nominal capacity in the complex.
