According to the Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical public relations and international affairs, in a ceremony held on December 15 in the meeting hall of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company
in the Research and Technology Week, the R&D unit of Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company stood as one of the top three companies in the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Group in Research and Development.
The head of Research and Development of Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company stated in this regard: activities in the field of technical knowledge acquisition, localization& internalization of catalysts and oils, increasing diversity in the product portfolio, and activities in the fields of energy, wastewater, environment and other areas related to production processes, are effective factors in evaluations and name Shahid Tondgovian Petrochemical Company among the top companies in the field of Research and Development (R&D).

In this ceremony Nouri, Karun, and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical companies were chosen as top companies in R&D, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, Khuzestan Petrochemical Company as well as Mahshahr Non-Industrial Operation Services Company received the innovation award. In the end, the CEOs of all these six and heads of R&D of them were praised, too.
